Parental training and community support: You should contact your doctor and an advocacy group for special support and trying.
There have been other alternative therapies, which have circulated in the media such as secretin and auditory integration training. Individuals considering treatment need to ensure that there have been studies that are scientifically sound, and that they receive information from a reliable source, before adopting a treatment plan. Claims of individual successes should not be considered sufficient evidence in supporting or using a treatment. Concentrate on finding studies that are large and controlled in order to validate any claims.
Currently, experts have not been able to identify a prevention method of for autism. There have been rashes of stories, which indicate a relationship between childhood vaccines and autism. However, experts on both sides of the fence have been unable to verify links between the measles mumps rubella vaccine and autism.
There may be evidence to suggest that the development of autism is due to a child's inability to detoxify their body. This may be from various environmental factors through the possibility of immunizations or could be a hereditary condition.
